Alexander Mizan previously served as Executive Director of the American Hellenic Council. He now joins the Board of Directors as a member. He was born in Athens Greece where he graduated high school and immigrated to the United States in 1997. He is a graduate of Brandeis University with a BA in International Relations and Finance magna cum laude. After his studies, he worked as a Proprietary Trader at Triton Global LLC in New York specializing in equities and equity derivatives. He also worked for Cambridgeport Bank in Boston, MA. Alexander successfully ran the accommodations department for Corporate Hospitality International during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games setting up the Athens division and hosting over one thousand visitors during the Games in his hometown. He previously held the position of Executive Director of the American Hellenic Council, while prior to that position he served as CFO to several small private businesses including Short-Term Solutions of Boston, MA and Drewelow Remediation Equipment of Escondido, CA. Alexander has deep knowledge of World War II history and briefly served as a researcher in the Shoah Foundation‘s effort to document the holocaust of Greek Jews in its audio-visual library. Today, Alexander is the CEO of Olympic Accounting and World Payment Systems.
