Eleftheria Polychronis is a real estate investor and Board Member of the American Hellenic Council of California (AHC).
She was born and raised in Greece. After graduating from Athens School of Economics with a BA in Business, she came to Los Angeles to continue her studies. Shortly after arriving in the United States, Eleftheria co-founded Fergadis Enterprises Inc., a food wholesale distribution company, along with her brother and sister. She served as President of the company for twenty-five years thereafter.
Ms. Polychronis has served as president of the AHC for three years and has been on the Board of the organization for more than twenty years. She is passionate about politics and strongly believes that it is the duty of each citizen to be politically active and involved in the political process by communicating with their government representatives and informing them about issues of concern. She has also been an active member of Saint Anthony’s Greek Orthodox Church of Pasadena and has served on the Parish Council for several years.
She is very concerned with the issues surrounding Greece’s current economic state and is among other Greeks working on identifying effective ways to provide aid and assistance to the people of Greece as they navigate this difficult transitional period.
Ms. Polychronis currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband Theodore. She and Theodore have two daughters, Thalia and Phaedra.
